Multiple Google services crash globally
Multiple Google services of the multinational Alphabet, Google’s parent company, have suffered falls worldwide this Monday. The failures have been reported by users in several countries shortly before 1:00 p.m. and are affecting their email, the search engine, YouTube, the video call service or cloud storage, and various processes of the Android mobile operating system.
The Down detector website, specialized in receiving this type of notifications about failures in digital services by users, has begun to register the first ones at around 12:36 pm. At around 12:50 pm the problem was already massive. One of the highest concentrations of warnings is taking place, but according to Down detector, notifications have also arrived from the east coast of the US, South America or Japan.
Google tools for the workplace are also experiencing service issues, as are those deployed in educational settings such as Google services for Education and so many other servies . The multinational has not yet reported the cause of the problem or how long it will take to completely solve it. The severity of the failure has also caused drops in other services that use the multinational as a support for operations, such as applications such as Pokémon Go or Discord account.
